Amplifying All Voices in Aging, is a four-week series designed to hear from experts and explore the stories of real people aging and engaging with our health care and long-term services and supports (LTSS) systems.

While the COVID-19 pandemic exposed problems in meeting the medical and LTSS needs of older adults, the federal government allowed states and local-level providers substantial flexibilities in how care could be organized, delivered, and paid for through Medicare and Medicaid. In this session, attendees will learn about the Medicare and Medicaid flexibilities and hear from local providers who used them to better serve these populations and their family caregivers.

The next session will explore:

  • Reimagining and building an equitable society where all populations can age well (Oct. 27).
