Amplifying All Voices in Aging, is a four-week virtual series designed to hear from experts and explore the stories of real people aging and engaging with our health care and long-term services and supports systems.

In this session, attendees will learn about the most pressing issues facing California’s long-term services and supports (LTSS) system, with related legislative, budgetary, and programmatic updates. Assembly Member Adrin Nazarian, Chair of the California Assembly Committee on Aging and Long-Term Care, will provide a keynote address.

Future sessions will explore:

  • Competencies to help the health and social service systems deliver team-based and person-centered care (Oct. 13).
  • Medicare and Medicaid flexibilities that local providers used to better serve aging Americans and those living with complex care needs (Oct. 20).
  • Reimagining and building an equitable society where all populations can age well (Oct. 27).
