The Sages’ Symposium will bring together researchers and older adults who require long-term services and supports to expand opportunities for engaged research. The objectives of the Symposium are to:

  • Address obstacles that stand in the way of participatory research with older adults.
  • Discuss how to engage older adults from diverse backgrounds and with different functional abilities.
  • Identify new research ideas and funding opportunities.
  • Share tools that make engaged research easier.

LTSS Center fellows Marc Cohen, Robyn Stone, Verena Cimarolli, and Erin McGaffigan serve on the event’s steering committee.

The Symposium’s discussions will lead to documents that support further research partnerships among older adults and researchers.

Registration is free but required.
