LeadingAge, in partnership with the Black Coalition Against COVID (BCAC), is sponsoring a national town hall with the aging services community to address concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine, particularly among direct care workers. We want to hear from you, your staff, and thousands of others from around the country.

The agenda will feature senior leadership from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and a variety of nationally recognized experts. This town hall is open to care providers from all levels and backgrounds. We hope your staff will join the conversation and we have a few suggestions for encouraging participation:

• Plan a watch party at your community so available staff can participate together
• Create a “watch-at-home” gift bag with snacks and information about the vaccine for staff who can’t attend in-person
• Schedule a follow-up discussion opportunity the day following the town hall to address any unanswered questions or concerns
