The Balanced Budget Act of 2018, which included the Creating High-Quality Results and Outcomes Necessary to Improve Chronic (CHRONIC) Care Act, offers new flexibility for Medicare Advantage (MA) plans to provide additional supplemental benefits to people with Medicare who have chronic illnesses, and functional and health-related social needs. This offers new opportunities for MA plans and community-based aging and disability organizations to partner in order to provide these services. Our September 10 Roundtable will explore these opportunities and challenges, and present real-life examples of CBO-MA plan partnerships in action. This Roundtable is funded by the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) through a grant from the Administration for Community Living (ACL).
