LTSS Center team members will lead 2 sessions on Nov. 18:

1:00-1:30 p.m.: “Experience of Direct Care Workers During COVID-19”

In this session, Verena Cimarolli, senior health services research associate and Natasha Bryant, managing director/senior research associate, will explore the challenges/stresses faced by direct care workers during COVID-19, how they perceive their employers’ efforts to train them for their work, and the differences in how they perceive their preparedness across different care settings.

 

3:15-3:45 p.m.: “Affordable Housing Plus Services Strategies”

In this session, Alisha Sanders, director of housing & services policy research at the LTSS Center and co-director Robyn Stone will discuss a housing provider’s collaboration with a managed care organization to bring onsite services to residents, and early lessons identified from initiatives to facilitate Medicare service use in affordable housing communities.
