The Vision 2025 symposium, sponsored by the Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE), will explore the critical role of universities in responding to workforce and leadership challenges and opportunities presented by the longevity economy.
The symposium will explore the challenges and opportunities for university academic programs in health care administration, and the business case for expanding these programs. Trade and professional associations will highlight their efforts to address critical issues in partnership with educational programs, and to promote greater awareness of this profession at the university and high school level. Emerging leaders from across the continuum will discuss the image of the field and its impact on recruitment successes.
Robyn Stone, co-director of the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston, will participate in prioritizing key strategies.
CHAASE supports the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire health care administration (HCAD) program, which prepares students for leadership positions in health care.
